ART AND TEMPORALITY

Andrea Benítez (Caracas, 1986) is a visual artist based in Barcelona. Her practice explores temporality and the fragility of the present through chromatic and geometric abstraction. In her series Fronteras Vivas, she works with color gradients printed on lenticular surfaces that, as they transform in the viewer’s gaze, turn the ephemeral into perceptual experience.

Trained in Visual Communication (Caracas), Sociology (University of Barcelona), and with a Master’s degree in Motion Design (Barcelona), she has participated in exhibitions such as the Valencia Biennial Ciutat Vella Oberta (2019 and 2021), Madrid Luxury Art (2022), and PintaPArC Lima (2023), in addition to contributing to international charity auctions.
